Social Mockup ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information. This policy applies to all users of socialmockup.ai.
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and an authentication identifier. If you sign up via Google or X/Twitter OAuth, we receive your email address and basic profile information from those providers.
Payment information: When you subscribe to a paid plan (Plus or Pro), payment is processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription ID but do not store your credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment details. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment data.
Usage data: We track your export count for the purpose of enforcing free tier limits. We also collect error logs and performance data through Sentry for the purpose of improving the Service. This data does not include personally identifiable information (PII is disabled in our Sentry configuration).
Uploaded content: Images you upload for mockup generation are processed in your browser. We do not upload, store, or transmit your images to our servers. All image processing happens client-side.
We use the information we collect to: provide and maintain the Service; process payments and manage your subscription; enforce usage limits on the free tier; communicate with you about your account or the Service; monitor and improve the reliability and performance of the Service; and comply with legal obligations.
Your account data is stored in Supabase with Row Level Security (RLS) enabled, meaning users can only access their own data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Authentication tokens are stored in secure, HTTP-only cookies.
While we implement industry-standard security measures, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
We use the following third-party services that may process your data:
Supabase provides authentication and database hosting. Stripe processes payments and manages subscriptions. Vercel hosts the application. Sentry provides error monitoring (with PII disabled). Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
We use cookies solely for authentication purposes — to maintain your login session. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. The authentication cookies are essential for the Service to function and cannot be opted out of while using the Service.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes. Anonymized usage data may be retained indefinitely for analytics purposes.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. Correction: You can ask us to correct inaccurate data. Deletion: You can request that we delete your personal data. Portability: You can request your data in a machine-readable format. Objection: You can object to our processing of your data in certain circumstances.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or other regions with data protection laws, we process your data based on the legal bases of contract performance (to provide the Service), legitimate interest (to improve the Service), and consent (where applicable). You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
